Yes. OnliBox reads the playlist, downloads the segments in parallel and joins them into a single playable file on your computer. Nothing is sent to an external server to be merged.

Yes, from whatever the site actually offers. If a page serves 1080p, 720p and 480p renditions, all three appear in the popup and you pick one. OnliBox does not upscale or re-encode.

Yes. When a separate audio track is available, you can save just the sound instead of the full video file.

The most common reason is that the video has not started loading yet — start playback for a second and check again. Some players also load their stream only after an interaction, and some sites deliver DRM-protected content, which OnliBox deliberately does not touch.

Start it again — OnliBox resumes from the segments it already has rather than starting over. If it keeps failing on the same page, send us the URL and we will look into it.

Never. The download runs directly between your browser and the site hosting the video, and any merging happens on your own machine. We are not in the path and could not see your files even if we wanted to.

OnliBox is a general-purpose tool, and how you use it is your responsibility. Downloading content you own, content licensed to you, or content whose terms allow it is fine. Downloading copyrighted material you have no right to keep is not, and OnliBox does not bypass DRM or any other technical protection measure.
